Michigan State has dipped into Metro Detroit for its latest football recruit.
Dearborn offensive lineman Mustafa Khaleefah committed to the Spartans today, becoming the 12th player in the 2017 class.
The 6-foot-6, 285-pounder is rated a three-star recruit by rivals.com. He also reportedly had scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Syracuse and a host of MAC schools.
Verbal commitments are nonbinding until national letters of intent are signed in February.
