Michigan State injury report: Uncertainty at key spots on both sides of the ball

EAST LANSING - Michigan State closes nonconference play at home against Central Michigan on Saturday.

Exactly who will be available for the No. 21 Spartans (2-1) remains unclear. They were banged up heading into last week and there were more injuries in a 35-21 win at Indiana.

Right guard Kevin Jarvis, wide receivers Darrell Stewart Jr. and Cam Chambers and cornerback Josh Butler were all injured at Indiana and didn't return. Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said Tuesday he didn't believe any of the injuries from last week's game would be long-term.

Left tackle Cole Chewins, left guard David Beedle and defensive end Jacub Panasiuk, all of whom previously missed time due to injury, returned against Indiana but didn't start.
