Michigan State in position to get old and stay old starting next season

EAST LANSING -- The day after Villanova cut down the nets in San Antonio as national champions, Tom Izzo was already on the phone picking Jay Wright's brain.

Wright, who has now won two of the last three national titles and an average of 34 games per year over the last four years, let Izzo in on a not-so-secret recipe for his program's consistent success.

"He talked about what he thought their advantage has been, that they got old and he's trying to stay old," Izzo said this week on Spartan Sports Network. "There's nothing like veterans.
