EAST LANSING -- Michigan State will be kicking off in the morning next weekend.
Michigan State's Nov. 5 game at Illinois will kick off at noon ET and will be televised on ESPNEWS. In Champaign, the kick will be at 11 a.m. local time.
It will mark the team's second straight noon kickoff. The Spartans host Michigan on Saturday in another noon kickoff.
The more notable part of that news, though, is the TV designation. Through Michigan State's recent run of success, the team has regularly played on either ABC, ESPN or Big Ten Network.
But with a five-game losing streak this year, ESPN has slotted the Spartans lower in its package of channels, in apparent response to declining viewer interest.
