EAST LANSING -- The hallway outside the Spartan Stadium media center features a photo of perhaps the crowning achievement of Mark Dantonio's Michigan State career to date. In it, he stands in Pasadena, trophy in hand, after winning Michigan State's first Rose Bowl in 25 years.
Dantonio noticed that photo as walked past it on Tuesday en route to his weekly press conference. As he slogs through the lowest point of his Michigan State career, reminders of the heights this program was at in the not-distant past are common.
"I saw that picture coming in," Dantonio said.
