Michigan State hires former NFL kicker Shayne Graham to new special teams analyst position

The Michigan State football program added a new full-time position to its staff.

Shayne Graham, a former NFL placekicker, was hired this month as the Spartans' special teams analyst. He had been with the program since June as a special teams intern after serving as a quality control coach at Central Michigan last season.

Analyst positions do not count among the maximum of 10 on-field assistants allowed by the NCAA.

Excited to have recently accepted the full time position as Special Teams Analyst for Michigan State University Football. Continuing the work preparing for the 2018 season as I had been doing as the Special Teams Intern.
