EAST LANSING — Kyle Ahrens made his return. Joshua Langford continues to wait.
But No. 6 Michigan State basketball continues to inch closer to full strength again.
Ahrens played 12 minutes in Monday’s 69-55 win over No. 13 Maryland, the junior's first action since missing the two previous games with a back injury. He had two points on a driving layup and added two assists and a rebound.
Langford sat out his sixth straight game with a left foot injury. He has not played since Dec. 29 against Northern Illinois. The junior guard remained in a walking boot during Monday’s game, but Izzo said Langford had been out of it for much of the day beforehand.
