Michigan State fullback/tight end Max Rosenthal has entered the transfer portal

It seemed like the Michigan State University 2021 football roster was almost set, but yet another player has purported to have entered the NCAA transfer portal. This time, that player is fullback/tight end/H-back Max Rosenthal, as reported by Rainer Sabin of the Detroit Free Press.

Rosenthal came to Michigan State as a walk-on as a part of the 2017 recruiting class. After redshirting in his first year, Max played in eight games in 2018 as a redshirt freshman and served as the team’s primary fullback for the last half of the season. Rosenthal took a total of 85 snaps that year and even scored a touchdown off of a fumble against Maryland.
