Parks Gissinger is now more comfortable navigating campus.
Trent Gillison is relieved to have orientation out of the way and classes scheduled.
Oh, and there was also some football mixed in.
Gissinger and Gillison were among the members of Michigan State's 2018 signing class on campus last week for a freshman mini-camp while getting acclimated to college life.
"Getting both sides, academically and athletically, it was just a good experience, as the coaches said, to get a little taste of what it's going to be like when we get there next month and just to kind of get a feel for it," said Gissinger, a three-star defensive end from Chaminade College Preparatory outside of Los Angeles.
