EAST LANSING — Mark Dantonio repeated many of the themes and phrases he has for nearly a month.
“Stay positive.”
“Execute better.”
“Recollect ourselves.”
And so on.
It comes down to three straight losses for Michigan State in the past four weeks, this time 28-7 to No. 6 Penn State on Saturday in a game that looked as listless on offense and defense as the Spartans’ shutout loss at Wisconsin two weeks earlier.
