Another week passed, and it remains to be seen who will throw passes for Michigan State football.
For his second straight Tuesday news conference, Mel Tucker did not reveal who would start at quarterback for the Spartans. They host No. 13 Northwestern on Saturday after an unexpected week off due to the cancelation of the Maryland game, which gave additional time to focus on fundamentals and individual development.
Last week, Tucker called it “a mixed bag with both with both quarterbacks” after the Spartans’ 24-0 loss to Indiana. It was the program’s first home shutout loss since 1985.
