It’s been almost three weeks since Mel Tucker was named Michigan State football's head coach, and the Spartans’ new leader is already making major strides on the recruiting trail.
Tucker is known as a defensive-minded coach, having played defensive back at Wisconsin and working as a defensive coordinator in the NFL and the SEC. But he has made it a point to address the offense early on. Tucker and his staff have already extended over 10 scholarship offers to members of the 2021 class, the majority of which have been skill players.
