LB Antjuan Simmons: With veteran voices beginning to blend into a din of clichés, the junior who took over at middle linebacker has emerged as leader the Spartans will rely on the rest of this season and into next. He has thrived in his move to replace the suspended Joe Bachie. Simmons had seven tackles and a sack against the Wolverines and made three of his 13 stops the past two games for lost yardage.
