EAST LANSING — Three Spartans who helped and hurt their stock in Michigan State football’s 29-19 loss to Northwestern on Saturday.

WR Felton Davis III

There was little the senior couldn’t do when he got the ball Saturday, and when Northwestern defenders weren’t pulling at his hair in vain as he zoomed by them. Davis caught seven passes for 96 yards, including a 3-yard jump ball touchdown in the corner of the end zone that gave MSU a brief third-quarter lead.
