EAST LANSING — Michigan State football is starting Brian Lewerke at quarterback against No. 8 Ohio State.
The junior, who has battled right shoulder problems the past month, got the nod for the second straight week after guiding No. 24 MSU to a win over Maryland last Saturday.

Backup Rocky Lombardi has a headset on, and coach Mark Dantonio said he would be available as "an ace reliever" should Lewerke's arm bother him passing in the cold and wind.
