The second Spencer Brown committed to Michigan State, he set off a domino effect for the 2019 recruiting class. He committed and then a string of in-state prospects decided to give their pledges to the green and white.
Brown looked like one of those leaders that every class seems to have (Darius Snow is that in 2020) and they usually grow into solid players in East Lansing as well.
The three-star offensive tackle from Walled Lake, Mich., enrolled in January and learned the ropes this spring. He also put on some solid weight, going from 6-6 and 295 pounds all the way up to 326 pounds, per Michigan State’s official roster.
