EAST LANSING — Michigan State had just two 4-star recruits in its freshman class for this season.
Now, both are on the offensive side of the ball.
Cornerback Julian Barnett, a 4-star recruit, made his practice debut Thursday wearing a green jersey with the offense. The Belleville product was working with MSU’s wide receivers early in practice. He remains listed at cornerback on the roster, though.
“He’s worked in the secondary through our summer drills and everything,” Dantonio said.
