Just like the quarterback position, cornerback will see a wide-open battle this offseason with both Josh Butler and Josiah Scott departing.
Butler got the nod at the start of the season and then split time with Shakur Brown and Kalon Gervin. Scott, on the other hand, was one of the most consistent cornerbacks in the conference and decided to enter the NFL draft a year early.
There are still some young cornerbacks on the roster who could replace Butler and Scott next season but the major concern is experience. The talent is there with Gervin, Julian Barnett, Davion Williams and Chris Jackson but the experience is not.
