Can we just forget this game ever happened? Michigan State fans are too busy stewing in the loss to move on, and rightly so.
The Spartans were bad, I mean truly just awful, when it came to capitalizing on deep drives into Arizona State territory. They moved the ball to the tune of over 400 yards, but they couldn’t seem to finish off those drives. Brian Lewerke looked solid and so did Darrell Stewart Jr. and Elijah Collins, but there was no sense of urgency to reach the end zone.
In fact, it took until the fourth quarter to put points on the board which is just unacceptable at home against an average Pac-12 team.
