While most of Michigan State football’s recruiting class is set, the main conflict right now comes from another Big Ten program: Ohio State.
The Buckeyes offered offensive lineman J.D. Duplain a scholarship on Oct. 2. Duplain is still committed to the Spartans – the Strongsville, Ohio, product originally committed to MSU on Aug. 1.
“The guy that probably stands out No. 1 right now, as far as the Ohioans, is J.D. Duplain,” said Bill Kurelic, Ohio football recruiting analyst for 247Sports. “Because Ohio State just offered him a scholarship. And that’s going to be interesting to see what he does.
