Six verbal commits in the month of May and 11 in a month's span, beginning with Huber Heights quarterback Messiah deWeaver.
That's what Michigan State can brag about following the announcement of Palatine (Ill.) Fremd three-star safety Kenney Lyke's pledge.
Lyke, a 6-foot-2, 182 pound defensive back, held a ceremony at his school Friday, choosing MSU over Notre Dame, Penn State and Baylor.
