Michigan State football added a much-needed running back to its next recruiting class.
Jordon Simmons announced he would become a Spartan on his Twitter account on Monday night, becoming the 15th player to commit for 2020 and the third from Georgia in the class.
Simmons chose the Spartans over Georgia, LSU, Florida State, Oregon, Colorado, Louisville, West Virginia, Arkansas and Mississippi. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound product of McEachern High in Powder Springs, Ga., is rated the No. 39 running back nationally and the 586th-best player in 247Sports.
