Michigan State has carried its on-field success in the past two seasons over to the recruiting trail, snaring a quartet of top-flight defensive prospects in the last four days. In doing so, the Spartans blew away a slew of fellow Big Ten suitors who were hoping to land the same players.
According to ESPN's Tom VanHaaren, 4-star tackle Naquan Jones is the latest recruit to commit to the Spartans, coming on board on Monday.
He joins 3-star tackle Mike Panasiuk and 4-star defensive ends Josh King and Auston Robertson as recent additions to Michigan State's Class of 2016, which is up to 17 players and has risen to sixth in 247Sports' composite team rankings.
