There is expected to be more space in Michigan State football's crowded running back room after Donovan Eaglin entered the NCAA transfer portal Monday.
A redshirt sophomore, Eaglin appeared in all 13 games and produced 33 rushing yards on six carries while primarily contributing on special teams last season.

A former three-star prospect from Manvel, Texas, Eaglin committed to MSU five days before former coach Mark Dantonio resigned in February 2020. Later that month, Mel Tucker was hired as Dantonio's replacement.
