EAST LANSING — Mel Tucker’s first hire to his Michigan State football staff is getting a significant pay increase.
Chris Kapilovic, the Spartans’ new offensive line coach/run game coordinator, will make $700,000 over the next two seasons, according to his contract provided to the Free Press through the Freedom of Information Act.
The 20-year college coaching veteran also will receive a contingent bonus “equal to one month's base salary,” an additional $58,333.
