EAST LANSING — Michigan State has offered a scholarship to Lansing Catholic's Tony Poljan, a 6-foot-7, 230-pound 2016 prospect who played quarterback for the Cougars.
Poljan, who made an unofficial visit to football practice and the Spartans' men's basketball game against Louisville on Dec. 2, announced that he received the offer on his Twitter account Friday morning.
Poljan is the No. 18 player in the state of Michigan and 717 in the nation, according to the 247sports composite rankings. His profile reflects him as a dual-threat quarterback, but MSU is recruiting him as an athlete/tight end.
Poljan has other offers from Nebraska, Minnesota, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Toledo.
