Michigan State football offense 'clicking together'; better than 2017?

EAST LANSING — Cody White senses something new building.

It wasn’t like this last fall. It didn’t even swell this much as Michigan State football’s wins mounted.

“The buzz is just different,” the sophomore said Monday at media day. “The vibe.”

Expectations of chasing another championship will do that. Improvement is perhaps the biggest buzz word around MSU’s locker room.

And if the 12th-ranked Spartans are going to do give Mark Dantonio his fourth Big Ten title since 2010, they know it will be up to their offense to make the leap from good to great.
