One of the quickest risers in Michigan State’s 2019 recruiting classes was offensive guard Nick Samac from Mentor, Ohio, and after being overlooked early on in the process, he could now become an early contributor for the Spartans.
Not only did Samac go from the 600-700 range all the way up to a four-star, per 247Sports, and a top-300 prospect, but he earned plenty of offers that were expected to pull him away from East Lansing, including one from Ohio State, but he stuck with the green and white.
Michigan State got in early on his recruitment and struck gold with his commitment.
