Naquan Jones was a promising NFL prospect coming out of his Michigan State football days, but he went undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was expected to be a Day 3 pick, at best, but he went seven rounds without hearing his name called and signed shortly after with the Titans.
Jones spent the preseason trying to make a name for himself with the Titans but he was ultimately cut and retained by Tennessee on the practice squad.
The cut wasn’t surprising given the fact that he was a relatively raw interior defensive lineman, but his potential was there.
