Michigan State secured a big fish on Saturday afternoon when three-star offensive guard Dallas Fincher committed to the Spartans over a host of other top programs.
Not only was this Michigan State’s first 2020 commitment, but it was a big one. It seemed as if Fincher was getting away from the Spartans as the new offers continued to roll in, such as Ohio State, Iowa, Wisconsin — which all seemed to lead the way. He also held offers from Kentucky, Michigan, Miami, Pitt, Purdue, West Virginia and Syracuse, among others.
The three-star guard was looking like a potential Ohio State or Wisconsin lean, but the Spartans stayed consistent with the in-state recruit from East Kentwood.
