Michigan State football makes cut for 4-star QB Kaidon Salter

The start of the Mel Tucker era has been hit with some unfortunate circumstances. The new head coach isn’t allowed to recruit in person and has been watching film and extending offers left and right.

One of his more intriguing early scholarship offers was four-star dual-threat quarterback Kaidon Salter from Cedar Hill, Texas. It didn’t seem like Michigan State would be his first option, and it may not be, but he’s seriously giving the Spartans a look, including them on his list of top 11 schools.

There’s a lot of SEC, ACC, Pac-12 and Big 12 competition for him as Michigan State is the only school from the Big Ten to make the cut.
