One of Michigan State football’s top commitments has flipped.
Running back Audric Estime backed out of his commitment to coach Mel Tucker on Friday and will sign with Notre Dame, he announced on Instagram. His teammate, offensive lineman Geno VanDeMark, signed his letter of intent to play for the Spartans in 2021.
“They are really high on me,” Estime told NJ.com on Dec. 4. “I’ve been talking to them a lot these last 2-3 weeks and have had a couple zoom calls with them. They told me they don’t have a back over 205 (pounds).
