Michigan State football lands twin 3-star offensive linemen

After a strong recruiting weekend for Mel Tucker and Michigan State football, the momentum seems to have carried over into Monday.

Michigan State landed four-star running back Anthony Carrie and three-star cornerback Syair Torrence over the weekend to push the Spartans’ 2024 recruiting class up into the top 60 nationally after a very slow start to the class.

In fact, the Spartans had just three commits heading into the month of June. That has since ballooned to nine commits after Tucker landed two more “big” targets on Monday.

Mercer and Charlton Luniewski visited over the weekend and they both committed to Michigan State on Monday afternoon.
