It's been quiet on the recruiting front for Michigan State football the past few weeks, but that all changed Thursday when the Spartans landed their third defensive end of the 2018 class.
West Hills (California) Chaminade defensive end Parks Gissinger officially committed to Michigan State via Twitter.
Wrote Gissinger, "Throughout this process, I have realized how grateful I am ... I would like to thank my family who guided me and help transform me into the man I am ... With that being said, I am proud to announce that I'm committed to Michigan State University."
Gissinger chose the Spartans over Boston College, Iowa State, Kentucky, Syracuse and Vanderbilt, among others.
