Michigan State football added another defensive back to its recruiting class of 2024.
On Wednesday afternoon, Dayton (Ohio) Centerville safety Reggie Powers III committed to the Spartans via social media. The three-star prospect is the 19th-best player in Ohio in this class and the No. 57 safety nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Powers had offers from schools like Ohio State, Virginia, West Virginia and Northwestern, among others, according to 247Sports. But the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder had an official visit at MSU earlier this month.
Still, with now just four commits for 2024, MSU ranks 66th nationally for its class.
