Michigan State football keeps flipping recruits — for better or worse

What Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio pulled off the past few days would have caused an outcry a decade ago. Heck, even five years ago.

Back then, in 2012, when a quarterback named Gunner Kiel flipped his commitment from Indiana to LSU to Notre Dame, it inspired all manner of revelations.

Well, college football is still here. Unless you consider Alabama’s dominance as a sign of end times. But, back to what Dantonio just pulled off.

In the past four days, he convinced three recruits who were committed to other schools to renege on those commitments and come to MSU instead.
