The Spartans’ 2019 recruiting class is quickly filling up and they added another pledge on Wednesday in three-star offensive guard JD Duplain from Strongsville, Ohio.

While he’s listed as a guard, the coaching staff was interested in him on the defensive side of the ball as well, adding some versatility to Michigan State’s 2019 class.
On top of that versatility, he also brings toughness.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pound guard has the size to also content at tackle or he could even shift over to center, making him an excellent addition to the offensive line.
