Jay Johnson has a big task ahead of him. Michigan State football’s offensive coordinator had a rough 2022 season following an explosive 2021 and he’ll need to prove that the former was the outlier.
In order to do that, he’ll need to have his offense healthy unlike it was last season. He was rummaging through the roster just to find healthy bodies to take the field.
On top of that, there just needs to be depth throughout the roster.
On Monday, Johnson spoke to the media and actually praised the depth on offense and said that it’s the biggest difference this year than in his first three seasons with the program.
