Mark Dantonio is known for finding the best possible position for his players, regardless of where they played at the high school level or were recruited. That’s what makes Jack Camper such an intriguing piece to the puzzle at defensive end.
Though he’s currently behind Jacub Panasiuk and Kenny Willekes on the depth chart, he’s facing a major opportunity to crack the regular rotation and potentially set himself up for a starting job next season.
Camper came to Michigan State as a three-star tight end from the famed IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., so you know he is used to facing stiff competition, but he didn’t fully transition to defensive end until the 2018 season — his redshirt freshman season.
