Neither played, but Michigan State appeared to be getting closer to full-strength Saturday morning.
That changed quickly.
The Spartans, who already were playing without starting quarterback Brian Lewerke and four other offensive starters, suffered even more injuries during Saturday afternoon’s 23-13 win over Purdue.
