PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Here are the Michigan State football players who helped or hurt their stock in the Spartans’ 31-13 win Saturday at Rutgers.
Three up
RB Kenneth Walker III: Just when you think Walker’s stock can’t get any higher, he adds another wow moment to his six-game MSU career with a 94-yard touchdown run that is the school’s longest play from scrimmage in 125 years of football. Even without that, the junior transfer from Wake Forest ran for 100 yards for the fourth time by punishing defenders; with it, he eclipsed the 200-yard mark for the second time and finished with 233 yards on 29 attempts.
