EAST LANSING — Chris Solari rates Michigan State football on a scale of 1 to 10 after the Spartans’ 28-7 loss to No. 6 Penn State on Saturday.
Offense: 1
The Spartans found the end zone for the first time since playing at Ohio State, and freshman Anthony Williams got their first rushing score since the Indiana game midway through the third quarter. Otherwise, Brian Lewerke and Co. continued to look lethargic and lacked playmakers in the wet, dreary conditions. Lewerke had problems with his accuracy and got sacked and fumbled twice on top of his third-quarter interception.
