Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio: 'Unforced errors' kept Utah State game close Chris Solari, Detroit Free Press
EAST LANSING — All of the talk about making a long trip west, playing in triple-digit temperatures and maintaining proper hydration in the dry, desert heat took second stage on Tuesday.
Mark Dantonio maintained concern about why Michigan State struggled in its opener against Utah State on Friday night and how his Spartans can correct their self-induced mistakes this weekend at Arizona State.
“I think our football team has got a dose of reality in all honesty,” Dantonio said during his weekly news conference Tuesday.
