Michigan State football coach Mel Tucker has picked up his first preferred walk-on in the 2021 recruiting class.
Of the 13 commits (12 on scholarship) set to play for Tucker, Flint Powers offensive guard Logan Murray is the fifth in-state addition, he announced Sunday. He called MSU his “dream school.”
Murray chose the Spartans over Syracuse, Liberty, South Alabama, Western Illinois, Morgan State, Northern Colorado, Youngstown State, Southern Miss, Southern Illinois, Merrimack University, Northwood University and Notre Dame College.
He was offered by MSU on Wednesday, just five days after Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh did so.
