Michigan State football coach Mel Tucker has his second tight end commitment in the 2021 recruiting class.
And he plays for one of the top high schools in the country.
Jake Renda, a three-star from IMG Academy, announced Saturday his commitment to play for the Spartans. The Princeton, New Jersey native decided to transfer this offseason from Notre Dame High School — where he played quarterback as well — to attend his senior year in Bradenton, Florida.
"After careful consideration over the last few weeks, I am excited to announce that I am committed to Michigan State University," he wrote on Twitter.
