It’s been asked for repeatedly over the past few years and Michigan State football listened. Folks, we are getting a Gruff Sparty helmet.

Everyone stay calm, it’s finally happening. Michigan State is getting a Gruff Sparty look.

Gruff Sparty has long been one of the fan favorite looks and it dates back decades. Some say the logo came about in the 1950s and others claim it was created for Michigan State back in the 1970s — but San Jose State may have actually had it first.
