Michigan State landed its 14th commit for the 2018 recruiting class today when Ohio linebacker Chase Kline picked the Spartans.
Kline, a 6-foot-3, 222-pound four-star prospect from Chardon, Ohio, is rated as the No. 12 player in Ohio by Riv. He took a two-day visit to MSU last week.
Kline was being actively recruited by schools such as Purdue, Minnesota, Boston College and Cincinnati.
"It was awesome,” Kline told Free Press recruiting contributor Matt Dorsey last week about his visit to MSU. “Getting talk to Coach Dantonio a lot and the opportunity for early playing time.
