It would appear the first blow to Michigan State football after the Mark Dantonio retirement has come.
Jordon Simmons, a three-star running back out of Powder Springs, Georgia, who committed to MSU in October, announced on Twitter that he has decided to wait to sign his national letter of intent with the school.
Just last week, Simmons told the Lansing State Journal that he believe he will be the missing piece that the MSU offense needs.

But in a Twitter message posted late Tuesday night, Simmons said that "due to the unforeseen retirement of Coach Dantonio and after discussing things with my family, I have decided to delay my signing with Michigan State University until further notice.
