Michigan State football cornerback Davion Williams became the second Spartans player to enter the NCAA transfer portal Friday, following in the the footsteps of former Belleville teammate Devontae Dobbs.
Williams, a redshirt sophomore who was a three-star recruit in the 2018 class, played sparingly this season on defense and special teams — logging 88 snaps and producing eight tackles over seven games.
In 2019, he forced one fumble and recovered two while making six stops.
Williams is the third MSU player from Belleville to initiate a move to another program in the last eight days.
