The New Jersey product held offers the likes of Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida, Wisconsin and many more out of high school — he was a much-heralded recruit and enrolled early.
After taking a redshirt in 2016, Chambers was down on the depth chart until MSU had many wide receiver transfers. Again, there was much talk about Chambers’ potential to get playing time after 2017 season. Nevertheless, Chambers once again found himself buried on the depth chart until a rash of injuries thrust him into the lineup.
